We decided to go with Rocket Landscapes because of an immediate confidence we had with Garrett right from the start. He displayed a knowledgeable understanding of what we required and stressed his flexible approach in fully meeting needs; he is clearly customer orientated. Compared with other quotes, Rocket Landscapes were certainly on the competitive side and this played a part in our choice, but, we must stress that an equally important element was the professional approach shown to us from day-one. The way that Garrett and his team conducted themselves though-out their work at our home was faultless. At all times they were courteous. The nature of the work was that it was inevitably disruptive at the front of the house but they always made every effort to ensure this was kept to the absolute minimum. We were continually kept informed of the work schedule and the next stages and we always had full confidence in the progress of the job. The quality of the work was truly impressive. All of his team showed extreme attention to detail and accuracy. The proof of this was the highly professional blocked paving work that was delivered. It has been very favourably commented on by various of our neighbours.We further notice that Rocket Landscapes have had several further jobs in our area since ours. We were further appreciative of the follow-up after completion. Garrett has returned to check that everything still remains good and we feel confident that we would be able to contact him in the future should anything require attention. It was just a few weeks ago we had our driveway reconstructed with ‘Block Paving’.
We decided to obtain several prices for the job, as we had no personal or previous knowledge of the cost.
Among other companies we received a quote from ‘Rocket Landscapes’. They were not the cheapest price we received. Competitive, but not the cheapest. They did however, have no hesitation in providing addresses where we could view their work. This we did, and were impressed with what we saw.
We requested a visit from Garrett Hughes the proprietor of ‘Rocket Landscapes’. He provided samples, a catalogue, a precise daily working schedule, and an assurance that flexibility in design, good workmanship, and total cooperation were his priorities.
We placed the business with him. The work was completed in under 5 days (and would have been quicker but for rain) He did offer cooperation, and conferred with us on every aspect of design, and in fact changed certain aspects of work in progress at our request. The work schedule was efficient. Machinery and materials were delivered early, debris was cleared at the end of each working day, and inconvenience to neighbours was monitored and kept to a minimum.
The finished job meets with our approval. We can find no specific aspect about which we can grumble, and at this point in time, we have no hesitation in recommending ‘Rocket Landscapes’ as a capable contractor. We feel we have received good value for money!
